Chartered surveyor wins awards for ice-cream

Former chartered surveyor Yee Kwan started making ice-cream after being made redundant following an eight year career in the construction industry. She has since won two Deliciously Yorkshire Awards for her product in the Innovation and Dairy categories.
Following redundancy and limited job prospects during the recession, Yee decided to set up her own business. She identified that many oriental restaurants had limited dessert options, and felt there was a real gap in the
